Jose Blanca is one of the newest members of the Parisi Speed School of Baldwinsville family. Prior to joining the Parisi family, Jose worked for Fitness Forum Health Club in Fayetteville, NY. Jose played his college basketball at the Universidad de las

Free Speed Pass to Parisi Baldwinsville in CNY

Americas (Puebla, Mexico) from 1998-2002. After his playing days, Jose worked with children of all ages as a JV basketball coach, ESL teacher and a youth advocate. Jose's passion for coaching has driven him to pursue an A.S in Physical Education and Exercise Science which he will obtain in May. This fall, Jose plans to attend SUNY Cortland to earn his degree in Fitness Development and a minor in Sports Management.

"As a former basketball player at the Universidad de las Americas (Puebla, Mexico), I have always been exposed to a lifestyle of sport, wellness, and competition.  My passion for the game along with the mental and physical preparation required to compete at a high level, has lit a fire in me which I wish to pass on to each athlete so they can enhance their quality of life.  Through functional training, my goal is to improve your physical and performance goals at all levels.  Whether you are returning from injury, preparing for competition, or just trying to improve your overall fitness, my responsibility is to guide each athlete on the path that will ultimately lead them to achieve their goals and lead to a better, healthy lifestyle."

John Mossotti

Program Director

John attended SUNY Morrisville where he earned his B.S. in Human Performance and Health Promotion.  Upon finishing his degree John interned at the Institute for Human Performance at Upstate Medical Center, working with the Vitality Program teaching water and land classes.  John also interned at the Morrisville Wellness Center, running graded exercise tests and training Morrisville professors.  With over 8 years of training experience, John has built up the knowledge to work with competitive athletes, clients with disease, and the average person looking to gain confidence.  John played football and competed in pentathlon on his track team at Solvay High School.  He specialized in jumping events and helped continue the undefeated record of the Solvay High School track and field team for 4 out of the 9 years they went undefeated.

“Physical training has always been a fun, positive experience while growing up and that is what I try to encourage in my coaching.  I use my time with athletes to make them feel comfortable and confident.  I coach athletes through each session, explaining how it will help them reach their goals.  Keeping my athletes healthy and strong is my main concern.  I look forward to pushing all the athletes to their full potential and having fun while doing so.”

Ryan Courtright

Performance Coach

Ryan is a 2008 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School. He received an associate's degree in Applied Science under the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Onondaga Community College. Ryan has worked as a licensed P.T.A. at Physical Therapy Plus since 2010 and has played in various basketball leagues around CNY. He is on the coaching staff of a fundamental basketball league in the Town of Clay. He has been coaching children and teens, ages 7-16 for the past six years. Ryan recently had to put his basketball playing days on hold due to a torn ACL last year. In completing a successful rehab program, Ryan has learned a great deal about what it takes to recover physically and mentally from a significant injury. He now incorporates this knowledge into his passion for training athletes and helping them achieve their goals. "I am excited to join the Parisi team and bring my PT knowledge of the biomechanics and injury prevention techniques. I’m looking forward to meeting new athletes and helping them better their techniques and themselves. The Parisi Speed School has offered me a great opportunity to combine two of my biggest passions, the love of sports and helping others achieve their personal goals,”.
