Speed Training for Sports CNYSuccessful teams are fast, agile, strong and flexible. Team speed training programs are tailored to each team’s specific needs and can be conducted for teams of all sizes, ages and levels of ability at our Parisi facility or off-site at your location.

For so long there has never been an easy, economical way for a coach to truly evaluate the total athleticism of their athletes. The Parisi Speed School sports team training system has changed that! If you’re a coach looking for a new and innovative tool to help you find your team’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as determine the best athletes on your team, then sign your team up today for one of our Signature Team Evaluations. The Team Evaluation is a valuable tool to help any coach gain a better understanding of where his or her team falls as far as athleticism, and use that knowledge to move forward with additional team speed training or sports team training.

Most athletes think that if they practice hard, learn technique and understand the game, maybe they will have a shot at the starting team. Unfortunately, this old way of thinking is not going to lead your team to the championship. Before your players worry about being knowledgeable technicians on the field, they must first make sure that their foundation as an athlete is strongly built. The foundation of a great player includes speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, injury prevention, nutrition and mental toughness.

 

How it works:

Free Speed Training Session for Athletes Central New YorkEach athlete will undergo our signature Active Dynamic Warm-Up. This is the cornerstone on which the Parisi Speed School training methodologies have been built. This warm-up alone has been shown to improve athletic performance with every level of athlete from 7 years of age to Professional. From there, each athlete will undergo a series of tests, including the following:

  • 10 and 20 yard laser timed sprint (first step quickness and overall speed)
  • Vertical Jump (measuring explosive lower body power)
  • 5–Hop Broad Jump (measuring explosive anaerobic power and recovery)
  • 5-10-5 Pro Shuttle (measuring agility and ability to change direction)
  • Maximal Chin-Up test (measuring overall upper body strength)
  • Maximal Push-Up test (measuring overall upper body strength)

The test results will be compiled using the patented Parisi Speed School scoring matrix. Based on age and gender, each athlete will receive a cumulative score that correlates with the test number that they produce. This patented scoring system has evolved from 20 years of training athletes all over the world and can be utilized for all ages and levels of athleticism.
